🌟 Happy Weekly Update, Families! 🌟
We will not be updating the cold read section this week. We will be sending paper homework, and it will be due Monday of next week.
In celebration of Black History Month, we will be participating in Spirit Week from February 23rd–27th. Students are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing according to each day’s theme:
Monday: Soul Train Day – Wear 70s, 80s, or 90s themed clothing
Tuesday: Black Historical Figure Day – Dress as an influential historical figure or wear a shirt featuring one
Wednesday: HBCU/D9 College Gear Day – Wear HBCU gear, college gear, or Chucks & Pearls
Thursday: Pan-African Pride Day – Wear red, black, and green
