HELLO
3rd Grade
Happy Weekly Update, Families! 🌟
This week kicks off state testing! We will take the Reading FAST assessment this Thursday. Please help your child do their best by ensuring they get 8–10 hours of sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time. It's also very important that students are present every day this week and next week, so they don't miss key review leading up to the test.
Ways you can support your child at home:
- Encourage them to take their time and not rush
- Remind them to read each question carefully (and reread if needed)
- Build confidence — remind them they are prepared and can do this
- Practice a few reading passages or IXL skills for extra review
- Help them stay calm and positive about the test
Please note: there will be NO tutoring this week.
Thank you so much for supporting your child's learning at home! 💙

- Check your child's grades weekly in PowerSchool.
- Please check and sign your child's behavior chart daily.
